Position: Imagery Analyst

Description: The Imagery Analyst shall provide topographic/terrain analysis, geospatial analysis, imagery ground station analysis to operators and requirements managers.

Duties:

  • Imagery Analyst shall perform imagery analysis, imagery product production, intelligence systems architecture and evaluation of procedures, processes, techniques, models and/or methodologies used to develop complex solutions to requirements.
  • Imagery Analyst shall have experience in the fields of targeting, intelligence systems, and geospatial systems.
  • Imagery Analyst shall have experience with imagery interpretation principles, techniques, and procedures for imagery exploitation, reports, and presentations.
  • Imagery Analyst shall be proficient in utilizing computer applications and intelligence related automation to support analytical efforts and product development.

Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance required. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years as an Apprentice, 3+ years as a Journeyman, 11+ years as a Senior, and 15+ years as an Expert imagery analyst. A GIS or related Certification is desired.
  • General Knowledge of NGA and the Intelligence Community demonstrated through on-site experience performing duties described above.
  • GEOINT Analytical experience within DOD of the Intelligence Community.
  • Knowledge of regularly used NGA GEOINT Sources.
  • Experience with GEOINT exploitation tools such as SOCET GXP, ArcGIS and MAAS.
  • Experience with GEOINT analysis, GEOINT production, intelligence architecture, intelligence databases, quality control, and training.
  • Experience with targeting and collection management.
